Mark your calendar! A fun and family friendly opportunity to help beautify Denver is just around the corner. Denver Partners Against Graffiti is seeking volunteers, ages 5 and older, to help with the 8th Annual Graffiti “Brush Off” and Litter Cleanup on Saturday, September 23rd. This exciting event offers individuals, groups and families the opportunity to connect with others in the community while helping with the critically important job of removing graffiti and litter from Denver’s public spaces.
This year’s Graffiti “Brush Off” and Litter Cleanup will focus on the Federal Boulevard corridor. All Denver residents are welcome and encouraged to participate, and all supplies for the cleanup will be provided.
On September 23rd, all registered volunteers will convene at Barnum Park by 8 a.m., along W. 5th Avenue, just east of Julian Street. Groups of volunteers will work throughout the morning on several sections of the corridor, and then reconvene at Barnum Park for a closing “thank you” luncheon at 11:30 a.m.
There’s no reason to wait! Gather your friends, family and neighbors, and sign up for the Graffiti “Brush Off” and Litter Cleanup today. Volunteers can register at DenverGov.org/Graffiti or by calling 311 (720-913-1311).
