Paco Sanchez Park got an upgrade this past June. It has new playground equipment that allows kids to hang upside down, climb ropes and scale a 30-foot tower. The park is a great place to take the family. Plus, the park is close to public transit, trails and the newly built Corky Gonzales library. There will be future upgrades in the park that include a plaza and activity kiosk that will serve as a mini recreation center that will encourage festivals and food trucks.
Denver is definitely a dog-lover city. The dog park is located on the west side of Barnum Park, near the playground and tennis courts. The dog park measures 33,000 square feet and has two separate areas for dogs to play for both high and low energy dogs.
